Marqués de Murrieta was the first winery founded in La Rioja, in 1852. Its founder introduced groundbreaking techniques from Bordeaux in Spain to improve wine quality and storage.
2004 Reserva tasting notes: cherry colours; aromas of berries and spicy notes. The palate is balanced, with great personality and depth and fine tannins.
Type: Reserva red wine.
Grapes: Tempranillo, Garnacha and Mazuelo.
Aged: for more than 24 months in American oak barrels.
