Category: Iberian cold meat
Description
Morcón is manually stuffed in natural casing – adopting a characteristic spherical shape – and marinated with paprika. The selected parts are mainly lean meat, some of them of the best quality, located near the loin and the neck. The morcón pieces mature and are left to rest in natural drying places from 4 to 6 months.
It seems that its name comes from the type of casing traditionally used to stuff this piece, called morcón or blind gut (the animal’s large intestine).
Ingredients: Selected lean pork, Iberian neck meat, meat selected by Gabriel Castaño, sea salt, garlic and paprika. Gluten free.
Vacuum packed pieces of 750 – 900 g approx.
